Head of Treasury and Cash Management

  • About the Role

    RedPin is seeking a highly experienced Global Head of Treasury to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in both regulated environments and fast-paced technology businesses. They will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of treasury management, including client cash flow and liquidity management of client funds, risk management, enhancement of our treasury management system, and process re-engineering to achieve our business goals. Treasury at RedPin is about leveraging technology and financial products to optimize liquidity within a given risk appetite.

    What You'll Do

    In this role, you will develop and implement treasury strategies that support RedPin's overall business objectives while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will forecast and manage client cash flows to optimize liquidity and improve the speed of payments, leveraging technology and complex data modeling. You will identify and mitigate risks, including interest rate risk, currency risk, and counterparty risk, and maintain the Treasury Risk framework, policies, and controls. Managing relationships with our liquidity partners, including banks and financial institutions, will be crucial. You will have end-to-end ownership of our Treasury Management System, leading change management by enhancing processes and controls to support RedPin's growth. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and leading a team of treasury professionals to foster a culture of excellence and collaboration are key aspects of this role. Additionally, you will design, implement, and report against key operational and governance KPIs.

    What You'll Need

    • Strong knowledge of key Treasury functions in a fintech such as markets, safeguarding, payment channels and platforms, currency cut offs, management of liquidity partners, cash, liquidity management products, regulatory and industry trends.
    • Experience working with CASS Client Money
    • Strong knowledge of changing regulatory and industry climate in terms of Basel IV, PSD2 & 3, ISO20022, MIFID etc.
    • 8+ years of experience working with treasury functions in APAC, EMEA AND North America (experience in setting up treasury in these jurisdictions is preferred), with a string background in both regulated environments and fastpaced technology businesses.
    • Experience in leading transformation projects involving system changes driven by process re-engineering.
    • Good understanding of alignment between treasury and finance processes to deliver improved speed of payment to our customers.
    • Professional certifications such as CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) are a plus
